The purpose of the Compliance Exempt feature is to maintain all vendors within the VIVE platform, including vendors that are exempt from the VIVE vetting process. Compliance-exempt vendors are added by the client and are not vetted by VIVE's team. These vendors are maintained entirely by the client. VIVE does not perform vetting for vendors in a status of compliance exempt.
Click on the Vendors icon at the top of the screen and then click on the Add Vendor button
A warning appears reminding the user that Compliance Exempt vendors will not be invited to register with VIVE and they are exempt from VIVE vetting.
If you do not see the ability to add a compliance-exempt vendor, this feature may not be turned on for your account. Please speak with your internal VIVE contact regarding this feature or contact VIVE's client support department at clientsupport@getvived.com.
Choose a Vendor Category. The available categories are all examples of vendors that fall into the Compliance Exempt Category and are exempt from VIVE vetting. If there is not an applicable category, "Other" is an available option.
Add all information available for the vendor. Fields with a red * are required fields in order to save the compliance-exempt vendor's information.
Once all required information is entered, hit the Save button. As a reminder, vendors will not receive an email to register and become a regular VIVE vendor.
After hitting Save, an error message appears saying "Are you sure you want to add this Compliance Exempt Vendor", Hit the OK button to save the Compliance Exempt vendor.
