Accessing & Searching "My Vendors"
This article provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the "My Vendors" tab, helping users efficiently search, filter, and manage vendor information within the platform.
Whether you're looking to find vendors in a geographical area, sort by trades, or customize the vendor table for better visibility, this guide will equip you with the necessary tools to streamline your workflow.
Click on the My Vendors option at any time to open the page, which displays a complete list of all vendors associated with your business. The top portion of the screen allows you to search for vendors using a map feature. The bottom portion of the screen will enable you to search for vendors using a grid search.
Understanding the Vendors Table
The Vendors Table provides in-depth information about each vendor associated with the client. Below is a breakdown of the table's key features and column headers.
Column Headers & Their Functions
Column | Description |
---|---|
Vendor Rank | The first column contains a "Vendor Rank" that signifies spotlight vendors. This is an option feature in VIVE. A vendor's rank appears in this column, with vendors automatically sorted with spotlight vendors at the top of the screen. |
Vendor Name | Displays the legal vendor name entered into VIVE. The legal name matches IRS records if the vendor has been approved |
DBA (Does Business As) | If applicable lists the vendor’s trade name. Businesses are often known by their DBA. |
VIVE Status | Shows the vendor’s current status within VIVE. VIVE highly encourages using only approved vendors to reduce risk to your business. |
City | Indicates the vendor’s physical location. |
Trades | Lists all trades entered during vendor registration. Approved vendors are approved for only the trades listed in VIVE. Do not hire vendors to perform trades for which they are not approved. |
Vendor Rating | Displays an internal rating assigned by your company (not visible to vendors). |
Searching for Vendors
Universal Search
To search across all columns in the Vendors Table, type a keyword into the Search field at the top of the table. The system will return any vendor whose name, trade category, or other details contain the search term.

To clear a search, delete the text from the Search field or click the Reset Result Filters button.
Column-Specific Search
To refine searches further, type a keyword into the search box under a specific column. This allows users to search within only one category, such as vendor's legal name, trade category, or city.
Because businesses can be known by a DBA, is it often preferable to use universal search when searching by the vendor's business name.
Example: Entering “Cleaner” in the Trades search column will return vendors that list “Cleaner” as a trade.

Issue: Vendor Not Appearing in Search
- Solution: Ensure the correct spelling is entered. Try using a partial search term (e.g., “paint” instead of “painting services”). All data is entered by the vendor during registration. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure accurate spelling of their information including their legal name and DBA.
