Vendor Registration
VIVE offers a streamlined registration process for vendors to become certified and connect with clients. Vendors complete a step-by-step application that includes compliance documentation, licensing, insurance, and payment submission. This article outlines the full registration flow with updated screenshots and guidance from VIVE 2.0.

Step 1: Start Registration
Vendors can begin registration in one of two ways:

Via Client-Branded Link: Most clients provide a unique VIVE registration link on their website.
- Via Email: Clients invite their value business partners to register through email.

Via VIVE Agent: Chat or call a VIVE representative at 1-844-476-8038 to receive your client-specific link.
Once on the registration page, you'll see options to either:

Login to Add This Client if you already have a VIVE account.

Or, click HERE to begin creating a new account.
If you receive an error that says an account already exists, use the login option to add the new client to your existing profile.
Step 2: Company Information
Complete the "Create Account" page:

Enter your Legal Name, DBA (if applicable), Tax Structure, and Tax ID (EIN, SSN, or GST/HST).

Provide contact details including office phone, email, and password credentials.

Passwords must meet complexity standards: 8+ characters, one uppercase, one lowercase, one number, and one special character.
Step 3: Business Verification
You must check the box acknowledging VIVE will be performing validation for your business name, tax ID and government watchlist to proceed to enter your business information.
You must enter required business details such as :
- Tax Structure
- Company EIN
- Entity Name
- Office Phone
- Number of Employees
- Company Emergency Services
- Years Established
- Subcontractor Employment
- Address Information
After entering your business details, VIVE will automatically verify your:

Business Name + Tax ID match IRS and Canada Review Agency records.

Entity name is not on a government watchlist.
Step 4: Trade and License Information
Select:

Service Area Zip Code
-
States Serviced
-
Trades Performed
For each trade requiring licensing based on your location, you must upload a trade or professional license. VIVE is not in need of a business license.

Click Upload License

Drag and drop your file or select it manually

Assign the file to the correct trade
Trades and licenses are reviewed by VIVE for accuracy and validity.
Step 5: Insurance Information
Each client has insurance requirements specific to the policies listed on the page.

Enter your insurance agent's contact details

Select the policies handled (e.g., General Liability, Workers Comp, Auto, etc.)
- If you have more than one insurance agents, enter each agent and the associated policy they handle.
- If your business is workers' compensation exempt, click the "I am exempt from providing Workers' Compensation Insurance" checkbox. This checkbox is only available if your business meets state exemption laws and the client allows their business partners to be approved without workers' compensation coverage.
You must click the "Save Agent" button you before moving forward to the next step.
Once submitted, VIVE will email the insurance agent and the vendor with instructions to send the required certificate. All policies must be marked with a green check before proceeding.
Step 6: Sign Vendor Agreement
After completing licensing and insurance:

Scroll through and sign the Vendor Agreement

U.S.-based vendors must also review and sign an auto-generated W-9
If the W-9 contains errors, go back to Step 1 and correct your entity or Tax ID details.
Step 7: Final Review & Payment
Before submitting your registration:

Click through each Review Information section to confirm accuracy

Click Continue to Payment
Enter payment information for either card information or connect your bank account to proceed with payment.
After entering in your information, Click ADD PAYMENT , before submitting payment. This will then allow you to SUBMIT PAYMENT.
VIVE charges an annual registration fee to complete the vetting process. This payment:

Covers vetting of licenses, insurance, and business legitimacy

Is non-refundable, even if you do not meet client compliance requirements
Confirmation and Ongoing Communication
After payment is submitted:

VIVE begins reviewing your profile.

You will be notified via email if updates or corrections are needed.

Be sure to whitelist support@getvived.com and documents@getvived.com to receive critical updates.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why is VIVE asking for my insurance agent's email?
VIVE reaches out directly to the agent to request updated proof of insurance and renewal details.
What if I don’t have a license for the selected trade?
You may need to select a more accurate trade name or upload a qualifying license based on local/state requirements. License requirements are set per state, providence, and/or municipality law.
Can I change my registration details later?
Yes, you can edit details until you sign and submit the agreement and payment. Post-submission changes must be coordinated with VIVE support.
How long does registration take?
VIVE typically completes reviews within 3–5 business days of receiving all required documents.
