Assigning Users to Sites
Overview
Assigning users to a Site in VIVE lets designated contacts receive access to site-specific data (e.g., vendor activity). Follow the steps below to add or remove users for any Site.
Prerequisites
- You must have an Administrator or Site Manager role.
- The user you wish to assign must already exist in VIVE (under Admin → Users).
Steps to Assign a User
Navigate to Sites
- From the main menu, click SITES.
- Click Sites in the expanded menu to view all your properties.
- Select Your Site
- In the Actions column, click the View (eye) icon next to the site name.

Go to Users
- In the Site’s left‐hand navigation, expand USERS.
- Click Users to show the current list of assigned contacts. (“Users” tab highlighted)

Assign a New User
- Click the blue ASSIGN USER button in the upper-right corner. “ASSIGN USER” button)
- Select the User and Settings
- In the modal, locate the user by scrolling or using the search box.
- Highlight the desired row (username and email).
- Set Should Notify? to Yes if they need email alerts.
Set Is Primary? to Yes if this is the site’s main contact.

Save Your Changes
- Click SAVE to confirm.
- A green success message will appear (“Successfully assigned user.”).
Removing or Editing a Site User
- To remove a user, click the trash can icon in that user’s Actions column and confirm deletion.
- To edit notification settings, locate the user in the list, change the “Should Notify?” or “Is Primary?” dropdown, then click SAVE (or the page auto-saves on selection).
Tip: Use the search and filter row at the top of the table to quickly find users by name, email, or notification settings.
