Send an Invitation to Register in VIVE

If you're looking to invite a vendor or expand your vendor network, VIVE makes sourcing trusted partners simple with two options:

• Invite a Vendor: Use this if you have a specific vendor in mind and know their email address. VIVE will send that vendor a direct invitation to register.
• Find New Vendors: Use this if you don't have a specific vendor in mind and want to find one from VIVE's network. VIVE's Find New Vendors feature connects you with trusted vendors already in VIVE's network, so you can quickly find the right partner for the job.

Important: New vendors must complete their registration and achieve VIVE Approved status before they can be used for any services or work, to ensure compliance with your company's requirements.

This article will walk you through the steps to:

Using the Find New Vendors tab on the left menu, you'll access a searchable list (and optional map view) of vendors in VIVE's approved vendor library who are available for registration with your company.

Invite a Vendor

Use this option when you already have a specific vendor in mind and know their email address.

1. From the left menu, select Find New Vendors.
2. Click Invite Vendor in the upper right corner of the page.
3. You'll be prompted to enter an email address associated with the vendor you'd like to invite to VIVE.
4. Submit the invitation.

Upon successful submission, you'll see an alert confirming the invite was sent successfully.

Find New Vendors

Use this option when you don't have a specific vendor in mind and want to browse or search VIVE's network to find the right partner.

The Find New Vendors tool enables you to efficiently search VIVE's pre-vetted network using a grid or interactive map. , filtering by a variety of attributes including trade and location. Inviting a vendor sends a one-click invitation requesting the vendor registers to bcome a vendor with your company. This eliminates manual sourcing headaches, while giving vendors in VIVE's compliant network increased visibility and growth opportunities.

To find a vendor, you can search VIVE's database of vendors using:

• Universal search
• Column header search
• A map view, toggled on and searched by location

Using the Map View

1. From the Find New Vendors page, click the Show map / Hide map toggle in the upper left.
2. When enabled, the grid is replaced with a map showing pins for available vendors across the country.
3. Use the + and – controls (or scroll/pinch) to zoom in on a specific region.
4. Click a pin to view details on that vendor.
5. Toggle back to Hide map at any time to return to the list/grid view.

Searching for a Vendor using the Grid: Two Types of Search

There are two different ways to search in the Find New Vendors grid, and they behave differently:

Universal Search (Search bar above the grid)

• The Search for anything... bar searches across all columns at once.
• This search is forgiving, it looks for a match anywhere in the data and doesn't require exact spelling, spacing, or punctuation.
• Best for a quick, broad search when you're not sure which column your term falls under, or you just want to cast a wide net.

Column Header Search (Filter fields under each column)

• Typing into the filter field under a specific column header (e.g., Vendor Legal Name, Vendor EIN, DBA) searches only that column.
• This search requires an exact match. If your entry is missing a space, period, comma, or otherwise doesn't match the data exactly as it's entered in the system, the result will not appear.
• Best when you know precisely which column and value you're looking for, and want to narrow results quickly.

Tip: If a column search isn't returning a vendor you expect to see, try the universal search bar instead. It's less likely to miss a result due to a small typo or formatting difference.
