QuickSourceBids
The QuickSourceBids section of the Dashboard provides clients with a comprehensive list of all bids they've created within the VIVE platform. This interactive panel allows users to monitor bid statuses and quickly access specific proposals.
Only clients using the QuickSourceBids feature will see proposals in this section. If the feature isn't enabled for your company, this section will appear blank.
QuickSourceBids Overview
At the top of the QuickSourceBids section, a summary panel gives you an at-a-glance view of your bidding activity.
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft Proposals | Proposals that have been created but not yet released to vendors. These are still in the editing stage and can be modified by the client before submission. |
| Released Proposals | Proposals that have been finalized and sent to vendors for bidding. These are open and awaiting vendor responses before the bid closing date. |
| Closed Proposals | Proposals for which the bidding period has ended. Vendors can no longer submit responses, and the client is reviewing received bids to determine the award. |
| Cancelled Proposals | Proposals that have been withdrawn or terminated by the client before being awarded. Vendors are notified that the proposal is no longer active. |
| Awarded Proposals | Proposals that have been reviewed and awarded to a selected vendor. The bidding process is complete. |
| Total Proposals | The sum of all proposals created by the client, across every status. This provides an overall count of bidding activity within the platform. |
Click any metric to open a table listing all proposals in that category. In this example, clicking on "Released Proposals" opens a table listing all 22 released bids.
Troubleshooting
- No Bids Displayed: If no bids are visible in this section, verify that the QuickSourceBids feature is actively being used by your company.
- Unable to Access Proposals: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to view the site the bid is assigned to. Users with a permission of "Client Manager" will only be able to view bids assocated with sites in which they are assigned.
